What this site keeps

Effective Oct 12, 2026

This page is short because the answer is short. Three things on this site collect anything at all, and the list below is the whole story.

This site sets no cookies. Nothing is sold, and there is no ad network, no third-party tracking, and no mailing list.

Assistant

The assistant

What it takes
Your question, the answer, the page and section you asked from, any text you have highlighted on the page when you ask (up to 1,000 characters), and a salted hash of your IP address. Never the address itself.
Where it goes
A private review log on my own systems, off this site, which I read to improve it. To produce the answer, your question, the conversation so far, and any highlighted text pass through OpenRouter to Google, or to a fallback model from Alibaba when the primary is unavailable.
How long
180 days, then deleted automatically.
To remove it
Message me on LinkedIn and it goes sooner.
Analytics

Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights

What it takes
Page views and page-speed timings: URL, referrer, country and region, browser and device type. No cookies, no cross-site identifier.
Where it goes
Vercel, as aggregate counts only.
How long
The visitor session hash is discarded after 24 hours. The speed timings are never tied to a visitor at all.
To remove it
Nothing here can identify you, so there is nothing to remove.
Bot check

Cloudflare Turnstile

What it takes
A token showing you are probably human. It loads only when you open the assistant. Cloudflare sees your IP address while it checks.
Where it goes
Verified against Cloudflare on the server, then discarded.
How long
This site stores nothing from it.
To remove it
Nothing stored, nothing to remove.

The assistant’s log keeps a salted one-way hash of your IP, enough to recognize one abuser across a session and not enough to turn back into a person. Its 180-day deletion is enforced in code, not by calendar reminder.

Other companies that touch this site, each with its own policy: Vercel hosts it and runs the analytics, Cloudflare runs the bot check and serves the videos, and OpenRouter routes assistant questions to Google or Alibaba to generate answers. The assistant’s review log lives on my own hardware, not with any of them. Like any host, Vercel also keeps standard server request logs.
